A shimmering, hard-hitting nugaze album by a new group that really knows where it's at. This genre's sound is so dominated by by a new groups from the 90s and '00s that it's become something of a cliche. Here Glaare reinvents the genre with fantastic songs, driving beats, and the requisite ethereal female vocals. Urgent and essential listening.

A lovely EP with a mix of label-mates like Night Sins and Captive, a goth-y 'Mezcal' era Swervedriver and a nice coloring of Sisters Of Mercy. This EP is kind of like all-night-bar-dark-eyes stoically wincing at the morning light. Really good stuff. brantly
